TERRAIN

The terrain leads the pen, following an unplanned line, informed by existing strokes. Spontaneous, unintentional, but resolved before ink meets paper. You do not know what patterns linger inside the repetition. But here, the repeated lines are merely close adaptations of what already lies on the page, evolving away from repetition. As repetition moves towards entropic chaos, it unfolds and leaves organic marks. Exciting and mysterious.
