The set for this contemporary take on Much Ado About Nothing made abstract gestures towards urban house exteriors, skateparks, and teenage bedrooms.

The main set piece was a rotatable 'win-door' frame on wheels, with one side acting as an exterior staircase and door, and the other, an interior window. Constructed to be user-friendly, actors turned it in between scenes and during movements to change settings or to create a sense of motion.

A coach on wheels could be spun to show a skatepark rail and graffiti backing, continuing to expand the versatility of the minimal set pieces. Three boxes with each face painted differently and a hinged flap, were able to collectively represent an Esky, toilet bowl, skatepark ambience and seating. All set pieces provided multiple levels of elevation for actors, creating interesting on-stage shapes and visual heterogeneity throughout the show.
